Amiga A600 - Computer Only. Recapped. Working. PLEASE READ NOTES.

My Amiga A600 - Working but please read everything below before you bid/buy.

This computer is 33 years old, so it is sold as is - it is working with a few issues that need your attention.

This is an honest account of the condition of this Amiga to the best of my knowledge.

This computer works fine except for:

1. The keyboard membrane needs renewal - the Help key and the Arrow keys are not registering, and some other keys need a second press. You might get away with cleaning the membrane, but really it needs replacement. They are readily available and easy to install. I have been gaming on this computer without any problems, so never got around to replacing the membrane.

2. Shortly after the recap, the right channel sound went very low - I have been told that this occurs often when one of the capacitors has a bad solder joint that didn't hold after the recap. I have also been advised that if that isn't the problem, then the OP AMP chip needs to be replaced. Either way, it needs some soldering which I am unable to do anymore.

This listing is for the Amiga A600 only with an installed CF Card HDD booting Workbench 3.1

It does not include a power supply or any cables or adapters. It has the original floppy drive, which has been cleaned, tested and working, and the unit boots automatically from the CF/HDD when powered up.

The case clips are worn and there are no screws in the case, I misplaced these when I sent in the board for recap and never replaced them. You can buy a package of screws on eBay or Amazon for a few dollars.

I have been using this Amiga for some time now and had it recapped when I had the whole collection recapped.

As I am downsizing my retro computer collection, I am selling off some of the extras as I already have 5 other Amigas.
