- The Convex 808 Transmission Test Set & Case Signal Generator / Measurer is a high-quality tool used for testing and measuring audio signals for Professional Recording and Communication settings. The 808 generates high quality sine waves from 30 Hz to 20 kHz at +4 dBm professional equipment levels. Balanced output and inputs use tt style patch cord found on high quality mixing desks and patch bays. Very useful in calibrating equipment and measuring signal loss within systems. This unit has two small flaws: (1) the level LCD display has a blemish, but still is readable (see attached video). (2) the case has a name written on it with a red Sharpie.
