Information on maintenance
CD player
As part of the maintenance of CD Playern, the complete laser mechanism including Laser unit cleaned and certain components with application -specific fat or Oil treated.
To ensure a reliable function, we test the devices with special test CDs. Via the so -called "Eye Pattern", which is measured with an oscilloscope, we can determine how well the laser reads the information of the CD. Based on this data, we decide, among other things, whether devices are still suitable for sale or whether the laser unit must be renewed.
All devices go through a permanent run with self-burned CDs (CD-R), in which the sinus signal is recorded over the entire period in order to be able to determine even the smallest dropouts.
In this way we can ensure that the devices work properly even with difficult CDs. CD-R's can be read more demanding compared to pressed CDs.
