- Very good lens, especially for macro photography. Seriously, it's really good at it. I've used it for about a year with no problems. I just got a similar lens so it's redundant now. Keep in mind, that this lens model isn't very sharp in the corners when zoomed all the way out, and with the aperture set to wide open, so keep that in mind if you're taking a group shot or something where you need sharp corners, stop it down to f4 or higher.
