- This camera experienced the common ribbon cable tear which prevents the lens from extending when powered on. I confirmed this myself by determining a slight pressure on the ribbon cable at that point would restore the connection enough to extend and retract the lens. I purchased a replacement ribbon cable and accidentally tore it during reassembly, so now I am selling it for parts. All other components were just fine and working when the initial ribbon cable tear occurred.
